Does anyone know why variable types distinguish "estimate percent" from "percent estimate?" For example, see: https://www.census.gov/data/developers/data-sets/acs-1year/notes-on-acs-api-variable-formats.html. S0101_C02_001E is an "estimate" with the numeric value being a %, and DP02_0002PE is a "percent estimate." It seems like a strange distinction, especially considering everything on the ACS is a estimate.
