Hey All,
I am using the 5-year (2015-2019) ACS data accessed via the census API. Do the GEOIDs in the ACS 2015-2019 correspond to 2010 census tracts or 2020 tracts? Something else? Will this change for 2016-2020 5-year ACS data?
Thanks for your help in advance.

2016-2020 ACS will use the 2020 geographies. See https://www.census.gov/content/dam/Census/library/publications/2020/acs/acs_geography_handbook_2020_ch02.pdf and www.census.gov/.../geography-boundaries-by…

To expand on this a little, the 2019 tracts are largely similar to 2010 tracts (and 2020 tracts are completely different). There are changes, particularly early in the decade (and particularly in areas of upstate New York, Los Angeles, and Arizona), but the vast majority of tracts are largely unchanged, making it easy to make data comparisons across the decade (eg. comparing 2015-2019 data to 2010-2014).
Thanks to both of you for your responses! Very helpfu.
