In September, Census Bureau shared its *proposal* for 2020 Census: Demographic & Housing Characteristics (DHC) tables list & data schema. It includes 169 tables with tract- or block-level stats. Many of these are new (or substantially changed) to deliver more detail on race combinations.
But also Census Bureau proposes to eliminate or downgrade 239 tables that had tract- & block-level detail in 2010 Census SF1.
All the detail is here. census.gov/.../2020-census-data-product-planning-crosswalk.html
If you work with an organization or research shop that really relies on those former SF1 tables, you have some analysis or applied use of it, Census Bureau is asking: what tables are really needed by public data users? They want comments by Oct. 22; that's next Friday. Comments can be emailed to 2020DAS@census.gov
Cheers
