Summary level 080

Colleagues at Census have informed me that they're planning to stop publishing ACS standard tables at summary level 080; that's census tracts split by county, county subdivision (townships), and place. They will continue to publish data for summary level 070 and 140, and they will still have the ability to produce data at summary level 080; but rather than doing it for all tables as part of their normal production schedule they would do it through ad hoc special tabs.
At HUD we're considering how this will affect us. I thought other ACS users should know.
