New ACS Website Content on census.gov

The U.S. Census Bureau is excited to inform you about new and updated ACS website content that is now live on census.gov/acs:

  1. Updated 2015 Data Release Schedule: The 2011-2015 ACS 5-Year Selected Population Tables and American Indian/Alaska Native Tables will be released on June 8, 2017. These tables are released once every 5 years and contain the highest level of statistical detail for selected race, Hispanic origin, tribal, and ancestry populations. In case you missed it, we also posted the 2016 Data Release Schedule earlier this month.
  2. New Supplemental Tables webpage: Easily access data for the latest ACS 1-year supplemental estimates from this webpage. This dataset is the only source of 1-year statistics for selected geographies with populations of 20,000-64,999.
  3. New Table IDs Explained webpage: Each set of characters that identify a table is broken down and explained.
  4. New Table Shells webpage: Access ACS table shells by year since 2005 with user-friendly links.
  5. New location for the Statistical Testing Tool on the ACS website: When comparing ACS estimates, we recommend using this spreadsheet to test whether observed differences are statistically significant and are unlikely to have occurred by chance.
