Calculating MOEs from derived ACS estimates

Over the years, we have heard from a lot of people interested in getting an easy-to-use tool that would help people calculate margins of error from derived ACS data (e.g., data combined across categories or geographies).     My problem and the answers I got from the Census this week is exactly the same as what Gene described last October. So I guess there is still no solution. It is so disappointing to know that I cannot use the data in the way I wanted.
