Fantastic to see this forum exists!
I am aware of existing methods for going from ACS subtotals to a median (link). I have also seen excel workbooks floating around that help facilitate the process. What I haven't seen is any instrumentation in R via packages or stand alone scripts that can help automate this process. I mainly use the ACS and ACSR packages to work with the ACS tables and as far as I know they do not have this capability. Before I unintentionally reinvent the wheel I was hoping someone here may know of a existing package/script I could use.
Would also take a script in stata or spss if thats available.
