The 2018 Planning Database (PDB) includes selected 2012-2016 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year and 2010 Census data for census tracts and block groups. These small area housing, demographic, and socioeconomic estimates may be useful to a wide range of ACS data users for planning and analysis. A demonstration of the Low Response Score (LRS) and the new Response Outreach Area Mapper (ROAM) application will be provided; the LRS is similar to the Hard-to-Count scores issued after past censuses. This score identifies block groups and tracts whose characteristics predict low census mail return rates. In this webinar, you will learn about the background of the PDB, how to access it, as well as how to access and use the LRS in the new ROAM.
