I desire to download the DP tables from 2009. I want to confirm that they are not available through the FTP and only available through the API. I do not see any documentation on the Census Bureau website that says this explicitly. I want to confirm with other folks they are actually not available through FTP and it is not due to user error that I cannot find them. Thanks!

The "Availability Spreadsheet" posted at https://www.census.gov/data/what-is-data-census-gov/guidance-for-data-users/transition-from-aff.html shows the availability of different ACS data products. The 2009 Data Profiles are indeed on the API, not the FTP.
