I rarely have to get data at the tract level, but here I am with a need and struggling a bit
I realize rural areas are often more difficult to get more detailed data. I'm trying to get the median income for a few specific census tracts just outside Kansas City, MO. Specifically 0611.00 and 0712.00. Both of these areas are very rural (farming communities), just outside city limits of a small town by 2 to 3 miles.
I have also tried using the FFIEC tool at: https://geomap.ffiec.gov/FFIECGeocMap/GeocodeMap1.aspx but it can't find the address.
Any suggestions or am I just out of luck?
This is to qualify for an economic disaster loan through the SBA where they are using median income as part of their criteria for qualifications. TIA
I see what you mean, I don't see that tract 611 in 2019 five-year data, though there is an apparent split for 712 here -- is it possible these are pre-2010 tract numbers? censusreporter.org/.../
Talk about a rookie error, getting Kansas and MO mixed up! Sorry about that
Here's Tract 611: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table?g=1400000US29037061100&tid=ACSDT5Y2019.B19113&moe=false&hidePreview=true
I don't see tract 712 in Cass County
Haha, Bernie beat me to it!
